iPad shipments see the first ever year-on-year decline, Samsung develops quickly

In the second quarter of 2013, iPad is still the biggest producer of tablet PC. But its shipments will experience a quarter-to-quarter decline of 20 to 25 percent. This is the first time iPad falls since its debuting in 2010.

Why iPad suffered such a decline? It is because a glut of cheap Android tablet is offered this year. Moreover, iPad released iPad 3 last year and it received more than 1.7 million shipments. But this year, it has no new products and this makes its shipments decline.
Though iPad shipments decline, its market share is still the first, 32.4%. While Samsung is only 18%, a half of iPad’s market share. However, Samsung Android products develop very fast and its products increase 277% of last year. As to ASUS, Lenovo and Acer, they also develop fast. So what would Apple do and can it still be the center of iPad market? We are not sure.

The only thing I am sure is we will own better tablets and better quality so let’s just wait and decide which one to buy. As to now, we can just use our old phone and tablet to enjoy our music or movies. Why not get a blu-ray player? It is wonderful and you can get a lot you want here.
