iPad came to the market in June, 2010.
Steve Jobs said, “PCs are going to be like trucks, they’re still going to be around.
They’re still going to have a lot of value. But they’re going to be used by
like one out of x people.” He predicted most of the people would use tablets as
a primary computing device, just like the vast majority of people drive cars.
“We like to talk about the post-PC era, but when it really starts to happen I
think it will be uncomfortable for a lot of people,” he said. “I think we’re
embarked on that.”
Three years later, tablets are really
becoming a primary device but iPad meets trouble. Because Google, Samsung and
other corporations develop Android tablets, which are cheaper than iPad but
with same quality.
Therefore, Apple had to develop more high
quality iPads to compete with other companies. Then iPad air and iPad mini 2
are come into the market.
The iPad Air delivers more performance and
comparable battery life in an attractive and impossibly thin-and-light package.
An improved front-facing camera makes FaceTiming look better, and the Retina
Display still looks great.
With iPad air, enjoying what you want to do
is really amazing. Watching latest movies with a mac blu-ray player is a good
choice.
